Eboney Thornton

EBB-uh-nee THORN-tun

Eboney Thornton serves as the Assistant Director of Communications at The Center for Community Solutions. She collaborates with staff and local partners in supporting the research and policy priorities through events and website support. Eboney served as a City Year Cleveland corps member and service leader, as a consultant for Community Solutions' tobacco initiative, and as support staff for Community Solutions' Youth Development, Public Policy, and Administrative teams. She leads planning and execution for Community Solutions' annual Celebration of Human Services event, which in 2023 welcomed Pulitzer Prize-winning author Connie Schultz and Fox 8 morning anchor Wayne Dawson and featured the Cleveland Heights High School Gospel choir. Eboney is working towards a Bachelor of Business Administration from Franklin University and has received an Associate of Applied Business from Cuyahoga Community College. Currently, She serves on the Friends of Literacy associate board.
